Get rewarded for referring good people.
Tier 1 achieves its goals by building relationships with the brightest engineers and the best firms in the industry. We believe in the power of networking. To show appreciation for those willing to contribute to our continued success, we’ve created a referral program that we hope will contribute a little bit more to yours.
-
Employee referral program – Tier 1 encourages you to recommend candidates for opportunities here and will award you a $500 bonus if your referral is hired into a current job opening and remains employed for at least 60 days.
-
Client Referral program – Tier 1 offers a generous cash bonus to individuals who steer new clients our way. If you know of a company in need of engineering services or staffing, refer them to Tier 1.
-
Offload Engineering referrals – We pay a 3% referral commission on the gross value of our offload engineering services sold as a direct result of your referral. It’s that simple!
-
Professional Placement referrals – If we only place an employee with your referral, you will receive a $500 bonus for each placement to a maximum of $2500.
Please see our referral program rules and guidelines for more information.
Client Referral Program Rules and Guidelines
The referral must be to a particular contact at a firm, and that contact must be the specific reason that Tier 1 ends up placing employees or offloading engineering at said firm. The referral must be to a person with whom we are not currently doing business. However, the referral can be either a new contact at a firm with which Tier 1 is already doing business, or it can be to a contact at an entirely new firm with which we are unfamiliar. So, introducing us to a new manager at a large firm, such as Boeing, qualifies just as well as does introducing us to a manager at an entirely new company. The referral must be specific and to a person, not to the company at large.
Referrals which simply claim that a particular firm "is hiring" do not qualify because such information is not a referral to an individual with hiring influence, and such information is routinely available in newspaper job listings and/or on the company's Internet web site.
Each placement with a qualified referral qualifies you for a referral fee that will be paid to you after the employee has worked full-time (40 hr/wk) for 60 days. Should an employee at an otherwise qualified referral leave the employment of Tier 1 for any reason prior to 60 days, no fee will be paid for that particular employee. However, this does not disqualify you from receiving a fee for other employees placed based on the same referral. The maximum total bonus for a particular referral is $2500 regardless of how many employees are ultimately placed with the referred client.
Commissions for Offload Engineering referrals will be paid on the gross proceeds of Client Fee and will be paid upon collection of Fee from Client.
